The American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) examinations are nationally available exams; however, Texas educator candidates taking an AAFCS exam will use this website to register, schedule exam appointments, and receive scores. The content of the exams is not changing.

During registration, you can choose to have your passing results sent to AAFCS for the purpose of applying for a national professional credential. AAFCS professional credentialing is a completely separate process from Texas educator certification.
